Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is where disconnection becomes understanding, conflict turns into collaboration, and love is rekindled with deeper trust
A Path to Safely Reconnecting
Couples, Polycule or Dyad therapy at The Circle Clinic in Leiden, in-person or online
What Is Our Holistic Therapy Approach?
Our licensed psychologists tailor sessions to the unique needs of each couple. We embrace an inclusive and non-judgmental approach, with specialised (and personal) experience supporting LGBTQIA+ and multicultural partnerships. Whether addressing long-standing issues or seeking proactive support, our therapy is designed to honour the complexities of your relationship.
Why Choose Couples Therapy?
Relationships can be a source of deep connection, but they can also be spaces that leave you feeling stuck, alone, or misunderstood. Getting close can mean (unintentionally) stepping on each other’s toes once in a while.
At The Circle Clinic, we offer a compassionate space where couples can explore their dynamics, heal relational wounds, and rebuild intimacy through empirically-researched tools.

The exercises we did in therapy helped us reconnect, not just emotionally but physically, in ways we hadn’t in a long time. I honestly didn’t think we’d ever feel this close again.
R.G. & M.D. (Australia) -
We used to argue over what to watch on Netflix. Therapy helped us realise it wasn’t about the shows... it was about how we listen to each other. Therapy was our "team-building exercise"!
B.V.D. & L.R. (South Africa & Ireland) -
Ishana had us doing some quirky exercises, but they worked! I didn’t actually expect therapy to be this transformative. It gave us the courage to face our fears, and be silly again together.
A.H. & E.H. (India & Canada) -
As a queer polycule, we were nervous about feeling judged. Instead, we found a therapist who truly understood and affirmed our experiences.
J.L. & M.A. (USA & Netherlands) -
Our sessions felt like a safe space where we could finally say what we’d been holding back for years. I used to feel like we were speaking different languages. Now, we’re fluent in ‘us.’
V.S. & C.A. (Norway & Slovenia)
