Procrastination Workshop
Psychological strategies for a shame free path to action
Shame-Free Path to Action
3-Day workshop at The Circle Clinic in Leiden, The Netherlands
What's The Workshop About?
It’s about the “I promise, I’ll do it tomorrow” that you whisper to yourself, often an empty promise.
Procrastination is more than a productivity-deficiency. It is resistance related to negative core beliefs, avoidance-coping mechanisms, not knowing where to start, and feeling stuck in the shame. Dealing with procrastination is about meeting our resistance with kindness, so that we can surpass it with action.
The Week's Therapeutic Themes:
Week 1 – Understand Why Procrastination
Week 2 – Address The Underlying Needs
Week 3 – Integration Through Action
Workshop's Objective:
Cultivate self-discipline as an act of self-care (not self-punishment), by inviting curiosity and kindness to our resistance

Q & A:
What can you expect in this workshop?
- An intimate group of maximum 16 people
- Physically-bound workbooks: including a generous curation of information-blurbs and research, and homework of detailed exercises (based on a variety of therapeutic approaches), journaling prompts and meditations
- Organic herbal teas, yummy, healthy vegan snacks and a home-made treat (accounting for everyone’s dietary requirements)
- An exhaustive list of practical procrastination hacks for daily-life application
Do I need any prior experience to join?
Nope! The workshop is designed to be accessible to beginners while offering depth for those familiar with self-development concepts.
How is this different from a time management workshop?
Unlike traditional productivity or time management workshops, our workshop focuses on the bio-psycho-social roots of procrastination.
Rather than just providing tips and strategies, we dive deep into the “why” behind procrastination to create lasting change.
Will I have to share personal experiences with the group?
Not necessarily. We invite you to share as much as you feel comfortable.
Can I join if I struggle with mental health challenges?
Absolutely. This workshop is designed to be a supportive space for exploring procrastination in a gentle, non-judgmental way.
However, it’s not a substitute for therapy. If you’re currently under the care of a therapist, feel free to discuss whether this workshop aligns with your goals.
Will there be follow-up support for me after the workshop?
Yes. During the workshop, you will receive a myriad of practical, interpersonal and psychosocial resources and information. There are opportunities for follow-up support through recommended readings, online resources, and referrals to additional services if needed.
Is the space wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not. We are working on a solution for this for the next editions of our workshop, since we strive to make the workshop accessible to everyone. Perhaps an immediate solution could be to follow the online version. Please let us know if this is the case for you.
How does it work?

- Put it in your calendar
